Rotors ’n Ribs Annual Helicopter Event Announces First Five Sponsors
Rotors ‘n Ribs is proud to announce the first five sponsors for this year’s festival: Airbus, Bell Helicopter, Concorde Battery, Enstrom Helicopter, and Leonardo.
Rotors ‘n Ribs is a free event held every year at the Goshen Municipal Airport in Goshen, Indiana. It’s open to pilots, helicopter owners, and helicopter enthusiasts. In addition to serving up delicious ribs, we’ve got a full slate of activities scheduled for July 7 and 8, including flying demos, safety classes, and a Guinness World Record attempt.
Noted helicopter pilot and safety professional Bruce Webb will lead one of several planned educational seminars. Guests can also look forward to a presentation from the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation featuring Vietnam and Cold War-era helicopters. You’ll be able to purchase tickets through AAHF for rides in a Bell UH-1 Huey or Bell AH-1F Cobra.
To cap off Friday evening, we invite you to watch us light up the sky above the airport with a spectacular drone light show and later a professional fireworks display.
On Saturday, we will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most helicopters hovering over a single field. We’re still finalizing our plans, but we guarantee you won’t want to miss this attempt. Sign up for our email newsletter at RotorsNRibs.com to be the first to learn how you can join in once we announce more details.
If you’re interested in helping sponsor this event, opportunities are still available. For more information, visit RotorsNRibs.com/sponsor.
