Enstrom Prepares to Share Key Achievements at European Rotors

European Rotors

Enstrom Helicopter will announce multiple key achievements on the world stage as company representatives return to European Rotors 2025, the largest business-to-business rotorcraft event outside the United States.

The four-day event runs from November 17-20 in Cologne, Germany. Customers will find Enstrom at Booth 734.

In previous years, European Rotors has attracted more than 5,400 industry attendees and 230 exhibitor companies from more than 80 countries. Enstrom Senior Vice President of Product, Sales, and Customer Excellence Chuck Wade; Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Global Relations Todd Tetzlaff; and Vice President of Product Support Doug Smith will all be in attendance alongside representatives from Enstrom’s European dealers and service centers.

“Approximately 125 Enstrom rotorcraft are stationed in the region,” said Wade. “We see this as a valuable opportunity to connect with our customer base in the region and develop relationships with additional dealers, new service centers, and potential customers in a growing European market.”

Enstrom currently enjoys a great relationship with DSA in the Czech Republic. DSA functions as a strategic partner in the region, with dealership capabilities and service center care for European customers. DSA continues to invest and grow their European network, all to better serve Enstrom’s customer base.

Wade said, “We see a strong interest in the region for a light turbine trainer like the 480B. Since the announcement of the 480B Elite at VAI, that enthusiasm for our uniquely configured aircraft has only increased. Enstrom will transport our 480B Elite model, the same model debuted at VAI, to Cologne for the show. That way, customers can fully appreciate the many features of our flagship helicopter.”

Wade teased several 480B-related milestone achievements, including Elite program updates, avionics and engine indication upgrades, and more. He also promised major news regarding Enstrom’s ability to sell both overseas and domestically, with significant progress made toward both FAA and EASA approval for Enstrom’s Crash Resistant Fuel System (CRFS). More details will be available during European Rotors.

“As Enstrom continues to achieve our critical certifications, we are well positioned to deliver aircraft to the European market in 2026,” said Wade.

As SVP of Regulatory Affairs and Global Relations, Todd Tetzlaff will once again represent Enstrom at the EASA Rotorcraft Symposium, where authorities, industry professionals, pilots, and researchers gather to exchange ideas and best practices for promoting safety. Tetzlaff will also be present for the General Aviation Manufacturer’s Association (GAMA) and ASD Rotorcraft Subcommittee meeting, where the collective aim is to create safer skies across the globe.

The exhibitor portion of European Rotors will take place at Koelnmesse in Hall 8, beginning November 18. To learn more about the event and to register, visit the official event website.
