Lakeland Internet Officially Joins Forces with BaseLine Internet
Lakeland Internet has completed its purchase of BaseLine Internet’s Fiber-to-the-Home network and customer base.
This strategic partnership marks a significant step in Lakeland’s ongoing investment in Northeast Indiana and will enhance its ability to deliver exceptional customer service across a larger service area.
General Manager Mark Byler said, “We are planning significant network upgrades to enhance internet service in the neighborhoods BaseLine currently serves. BaseLine customers can expect a seamless transition as Lakeland Internet delivers faster speeds, and in some cases, at lower prices.”
Lakeland will assume primary oversight and complete all necessary network upgrades within sixty days, at which point, customers will officially transfer to Lakeland’s fiber plans. A representative from Lakeland customer service will reach out to customers individually to help them complete the transition to the new billing system.
